11.02.17--- Update! Jimmy message in memory of Mark Ashton.

11.02.17---Vor 30 Jahren verstarb Mark Ashton an den Folgen von Aids.  Er war Gay-Aktivist und Mitglied der Kommunistischen Partei Großbritanniens. Communards widmeten Mark das Album "RED". Der Song "For A Friend" ist nicht einfach nur ein Pop-Song,sondern vielmehr ein Andenken an die herausragende Persönlickeit und ihren Freund Mark Ashton. Summer comes and I'd remember how we'd march, We'd march for love and pride, together arm in arm. Tears have turned, turned to anger and contempt, I'll never let you down, a battle I have found. 30 years ago, Mark Ashton died of AIDS. He was a gay activist and a member of the Communist Party of Great Britain. The Communards dedicated the album "RED" to Mark. The song "For A Friend" is not just a pop song but a memory of his outstanding personality and friendship with Mark Ashton.

31.01.17--- Update! Larry Steinbachek  *06.05.1960 †16.12 2016 in Amsterdam.

12.01.17--- Heute erreichte uns die traurige Mitteilung, dass Larry Steinbachek im Dezember 2016 verstorben ist. Seine Schwester Louise teilte der BBC mit, dass Larry nach kurzem Kampf gegen den Krebs im Kreise seiner Angehörigen und Freunde gestorben sei. Today, we received the sad message that Larry Steinbachek died in December 2016. Steinbachek's sister Louise Jones told BBC News, he died last month after a short battle with cancer, with his family and friends at his bedside.   Jimmy´s first comment: "...Gosh that's made me feel very emotional. I guess that part of my history just became a big part" "...We were young brave and determined. Was powerful time." In memory of Larry Steinbachek whose death was announced yesterday. Neben seiner Acoustic-Version enthält diese auch einen neuen Remix von „Back To Me“. Also in celebration of 30 years since the release of ‪"‎Don´t Leave Me This Way‬" by The Communards Jimmy releasing a new version of this classic taken from the new acoustic album. Heute vor 30 waren die Communards zum ersten mal im legendären L'Olympia in Paris auf der Bühne. 30 years have passed since that first album Communards was released. A large part of this success was the outstanding band. Because of this band, each was concert unique.

15.01.16---Aufgrund der großen Nachfrage in BERLIN wurde Jimmys Show vom "Columbia-Theater" ins "Huxleys Neue WELT", BERLIN verlegt. Das Datum und die Zeit bleibt genau das gleiche (19.02.16, 20.00 Uhr)  Tickets behalten ihre Gültigkeit. Owing to the great demand in BERLIN Jimmy’s show has been relocated from the "Columbia Theater" and will now take place at "HUXLEY'S NEUE WELT", BERLIN.   The date and times remain exactly the same (19.02.16 8:00 PM) and tickets that  have already been purchased shall retain their validity for the new venue.
